Nursery Uniform
We want our pupils to be proud to be a part of the Queensway Infant Academy and Nursery and represent the school positively, so it is important that they are always smartly dressed. We also ask that your child be in comfortable, washable and durable clothes.
All students should wear the appropriate uniform unless there is a valid medical or cultural reason why they cannot wear a particular item or why they have to wear an additional garment.
Our uniform includes:
- Fleece
- Sweatshirt
- A white polo shirt
- Black/ grey bottoms
- Comfortable, sensible shoes that they can fasten themselves (no open-toe shoes, heels or crocs)
Bottoms (i.e. trousers, skirts or shorts) are unbranded and are available from any retailer or supermarket. Our polo shirt, fleece and sweatshirt are branded and are available from MyClothing.com.
Children may wear small stud earrings to Nursery but please remove all hoops to avoid the risk of injury when climbing and playing.
What does my child need for Nursery?
We have a digging area and an outside tap so children will get messy. Aprons will be provided for painting and other messy activities. A pair of named wellies to avoid getting their feet wet and muddy is a good idea.
A bag clearly labelled with your child's name containing a named set of spare clothes is essential so please ensure your child has these. We do have some spare clothes in the nursery but unfortunately, we never seem to have enough!
